| David Edwards' book /ArtScience: Creativity in the Post-Google Generation/ (Harvard University Press, 2007) describes the richness of dialog between and cross-exploration of the arts and the sciences in culture, education, industry and society. His essay develops the
relevance of artistic engagement as a scientist, and scientific engagement as an artist, drawing from his own experiences and those of other artists and scientists actively creating in the arts and sciences today.
His novel, /La Niche/, which he has written under the pseudonym/Séguier/ with novelist Jay Cantor (pseudonym /Plessis/), appears in French with Editions Ecole Normale Supèrieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in the fall of 2007. David is the founder of Le Laboratoire, a new art and science cultural center in Paris's first arrondissement, which opens to the public in the fall of 2007. He is also a founder of the Cloud Foundation, which owns and operates Cloud Place, an urban teen art center, and of L'assocation Nuage France, a parallel urban teen art organization in Paris.
