I'm currently a Wyss fellow, conducting research with both Prof. Kit K. Parker and Prof. Don. E. Ingber at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), and the Wyss institute at Harvard University.

I have a PhD in Chemistry from the Tel Aviv University under the supervision of Prof. Gil Markovich. I have collaborated with Prof. Rubinstein, Prof. Berova, Prof. E.W. Meijer, Prof. Kahr, and others.

I hold an M.Sc in Chemistry from the Tel- Aviv University.

My CV.

My goal is to understand complex human systems through the introduction and study of minimal synthetic human models. I mainly focus on Organs-on-a-chip, and brain in vitro models. I develop and use novel in vitro models to study brain physiology in steady and disease states, such as traumatic brain injury (TBI). During my PhD I investigated the interaction between light and nano structures, such as the coupling between plasmons and chirality. During my M.Sc I specialized in fabricating and characterizing MgO nano particles through a colloidal synthesis.

I’m married to my beautiful wife Yasmine, whom I met at Tel Aviv University. I adore mountain biking and I'm part of a biking group (BCR). I love hiking and reading. My family is part of the 11 families that established the town Mazkeret Batia near Rehovot in 1883.
