TO READERS:
The following is a seminar talk given in the format where the audio portion
is replaced by text interspersed with the transparencies. One should read
the text immediately before or following the transparencies to get an
approximation of a live lecture given via overhead projectors.
The talk is a tutorial on Ordinal Optimization (OO). It is based mostly
on the research of DEDS group under Y.C. Ho at Harvard and summarizes many
of the topics discussed in more detail in the annotated reference list at
the end.
