Pulse Propagation on
a Lossy Transmission Lines:
Approximate solutions
that demonstrate the resolution of a given pulse stream as it
propagates on transmission lines characterized by different RC constants.
In the following figures, the initial pulse
width of the pulses in the data stream are equal to RC0.
For lines that have RC < 4 RC0 the data resolution is pretty good, but RC
values greater than that value, it may become difficult to resolve the
data in the presence of noise.
