The charge transport in a forward-biased pn junction consists of an electron and a hole component.
The concentration of the minority charge carriers depends on the current(s).
different doping concentrations => minority carrier concentration in the p--region (electrons) is larger than the minority carrier concentration in the n+-region (holes).
