  • measuring greenhouse gases (CO2, CH4, CO) over the Arctic tundra using cavity ring down spectroscopy as a part of CARVE

  • measured aerosol CCN-activity during Egbert 2007 and Whistler 2008 field studies

  • designed, assembled, tested and deployed a portable CCN counter
  • manipulated and automated the analysis of large data sets from field campaigns
  • studied ozone degradation catalyzed by the presence of Saharan dust at atmospherically relevant relative humidities
