Directions to 67 Oak Cliff Rd.

Public transportation:  

Option 1: Take the Green line D train from Park Street
to *Newton Centre*.  Call for pickup (617-969-0473).

Option 2: Take the electric bus #71 from Harvard Square to 
Watertown Square.  Call for pickup.

Driving:

          From Cambridge or Boston

               Take the Massachusetts Turnpike W to Exit  17  (Newton-
          Watertown),  then  take  Washington  St.  west  (parallel to
          turnpike) until you see Shaws/Star Market on the  left,  over  the
          turnpike.   Turn  left  at  the  next  street  (Lowell Av.),
          proceed until the former Claflin School can be seen  on  the
          hillside on the right.  Turn right at the next street (Arden
          Rd., very small street), then right at the top of the  hill,
          #67  is  the  first  house  on the right.  If you reach Com-
          monwealth Av. on Lowell St., you have gone past Arden Rd.

          From Arlington/Watertown/Belmont

               Go to Watertown Square, across the Charles towards New-
          ton,  stay  on  Galen/Center  St.  to Newton Corner, proceed
          along Washington St. as directions above.

          From West of Newton, New Hampshire, etc.

               Take Route 128 (I-95) South to the Route 30 exit 
          (Commonwealth Av.)(Exit 24),
          proceed east towards Newton.  Keep an eye out for Washington
          St. (firehouse on right), next light is Chestnut, then look for
          Valentine on the left just past the MWRA pumping station.   
	  Turn left at Valentine (almost reverses direction) then first
	  right onto Oak Cliff and down the hill two  short  blocks
	  to  #67,  white house on the right after Arden Rd.  If you
	  pass Newton City Hall on Commonwealth, you have gone too
	  far.
